About Us
I always thought that making a life-changing decision would be a very difficult thing to do, that was until I decided to set up Poochy Pets – platinum services
As a fully qualified and trained catering professional I have been fortunate to work in many wonderful places and with some great people. However, having grown up with German Shepherds and now living with my two chocolate Labradors, I realised what I have always instinctively known, that being with and being around animals is what makes me most content. Over the years I have gained a wealth of relevant experience by looking after the pets of family members and friends. These have included both traditional pets and some exotic breeds and reptiles.
Having decided to fulfil my dreams and pursue a career working with and caring for pets, I wanted to ensure that my approach was both professional and friendly. With this in mind I committed to full time studies, as a result of which I am a qualified Professional Dog Walker and Professional Pet sitter, having gained a merit in both nationally recognised diplomas. These include the following modules:

- Animal law
- Canine and Feline care
- Exotic pet care
- Canine behaviour
- Canine Anatomy
- Canine Body Language
- Canine Form and Function
- Canine Aggression
- House security
In addition I am Criminal Records Bureau checked and verified, with full insurance through insurance.
I am also registered with NARPS UK, a well known and reputable national register of pet services providers.
As my business is growing I have consciously focusing on providing the pet sitting, dog walking and associated services within the immediate area, thereby ensuring my availability to provide the very best in personalised services.
